Since 2019, Black Cultural Zone has been out here making moves: holding space, building power, and keeping our culture front and center in East Oakland. We ride for Black folks, artists, entrepreneurs, and community organizations doing the real work, especially the ones rooted right here in East Oakland.
We’re fighting displacement and flipping the script on decades of disinvestment. That means backing our people with real support, real opportunity, and a vision that puts community first — economically, culturally, and creatively.
